Dear Victory Outreach Bible College Students.
As you are undoubtedly aware, our beloved founder, Pastor Sonny Arguinzoni Sr., went home to be with the Lord at the age of 85. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we also rejoice in the legacy he leaves behind and the eternal reward he has received.
Pastor Sonny’s vision and unwavering commitment to God’s calling led to the creation of Victory Outreach International and, importantly, Victory Outreach Bible College. He believed in equipping individuals to carry the torch of the Gospel, empowering them to transform lives and communities. His passion for seeing broken lives restored is the very foundation upon which our college stands.
Through his obedience to God’s call, he launched a movement that has planted over 700 churches and ministries across more than 30 countries. Pastor Sonny’s heart yearned to reach the world for Christ, and God, in His faithfulness, answered that prayer. As Psalm 2:8 declares, “Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.”
The global reach of Victory Outreach stands as a powerful testament to God’s faithfulness and the fulfillment of Pastor Sonny’s prayer, a legacy that will continue to impact generations to come.

We understand that this news may bring a range of emotions, and we encourage you to lean on one another and on the Lord for strength and comfort during this time. Please take time to remember the impact Pastor Sonny had on your life and the lives of countless others.
Now, more than ever, it is crucial that we honor Pastor Sonny’s legacy by continuing the work he started. He poured his life into building this ministry and this college, believing in the power of God to transform lives through educated and dedicated servants.
Therefore, we encourage you to:
- Continue your studies with renewed dedication: Remember that the knowledge and skills you are gaining here are vital tools for fulfilling God’s purpose in your life.
- Embrace the vision: Pastor Sonny’s vision of reaching the lost and broken remains our mission. Let his passion fuel your determination to complete your education and serve God faithfully.
- Support one another: This is a time for unity and encouragement. Lean on your classmates, instructors, and the Victory Outreach family for strength and prayer.
- Remember the hope we have in Christ: While we mourn his passing, we also celebrate Pastor Sonny’s eternal life and the promise of seeing him again.
Pastor Sonny’s impact will live on through each of you. Let us honor his memory by continuing to pursue our calling with unwavering faith and commitment. We are praying for each of you during this time.

I will be forever grateful for Pastor Sonny’s Obedience in answering the call of God. Also for his commitment, sacrifice, compassion, passion, and love. My family has been greatly impacted by his life and ministry. There are about 25 family members of mine who have been attending Victory Outreach Churches for many years. Me and my Wife were living a life that was full of sin, drugs, and drinking but one day someone told us about VO and we got saved. We have been serving in VO for 25 years. We are committed to this cause and will continue to work hard to at discipleship to see this vision continue. We love you, pastor Sonny.
Good Day Victory Outreach Family
I will be forever grateful for the impact that Pastor Sonny made on my life.
It was way back in 1988, when i first read Nicky Cruz book Cross and The Switchblade, in a area called Portlands, which is part of a community called Mitchell’s Plain, Cape Town, South Africa
This is where i had my first Victory Outreach Holy Ghost Encounter with God
It was on that day, where God has placed the dream in my heart to planting churches for the gangsters, drug addicts, drug lords, prostitutes and their families ( The God Given Vision)
Their Amazing Love, and passion for the hurting people of this world, has impacted my life for the good
Today i am doing exactly what they are doing, accept planting churches as yet
His Book Treasures Out of Darkness, has become my second Bible now
I remember the hundreds times that i wanted to give up on life, when life did not treated me well
God was saying to me ” Who is going to love the gangster, drug addict and prostitute the same way that i love them”
THANK YOU PASTOR SONNY, IT’S BECAUSE OF YOUR VISION THAT I AM STILL ALIVE TODAY
THE VISION SHALL CONTINUE
THE BEST IS YET TO COME
THE ENDTIME HARVEST OF SOULS
THE TREASURES OUT OF DARKNESS
GLORY BE TO GOD

POWERFUL WORDS…!
I meet Pastor Sonny, when VOI was called Victory Temple, in 1977. I was 17 years old
We were on St. Luis Street in Boyle Heights. I see the growth from East Los Angeles to Around the World. Pastor Sonny was a Family Man, A man of Faith and Visionary, A Godly Man, Mentor, Coach. He leaves a legacy. He will be missed immensely, but he is rejoicing with Jesus. The song I can only imagine comes to my mind.
I can only imagine
What it will be like
When I walk by Your side
I can only imagine
What my eyes would see
When Your face is before me
I can only imagine
Yeah
Surrounded by Your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for You Jesus
Or in awe of You be still?
Will I stand in Your presence
Or to my knees, will I fall?
Will I sing hallelujah?
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine
I can only imagine
Prayers to Mama Julie and the family, may The Lord comfort each one of you.
God Bless All my VOI family.
Pastor Sonny was one of the greatest visionaries of our lifetimes. I remember being a young GANG Regional the first time I was in a meeting with him. Feeling inadequate and not enough for this call or position. But after he spoke with us all, I felt like I could take the world for Jesus. Over the years and years the few times I was able to spend time with him and take him to lunch in my city, it was always a blessing and honor. When I think of how God’s planned has unfolded from Pastor Sonny’s obedience to the impact in my families life, it makes me grateful. Grateful for the man of God and the vision that was given to him from God. My wife and I would give them Texas jerseys for their grandchildren when we would see them, he called me Texas in those early years because I always had a Texas Jerseys on. When I heard about his passing, I was getting ready to teach my VOBC class, it was like my grandfather passed. In this ministry God gave me the family I yearned for all my life. I have raised my children and now grandchildren in this ministry. I will be forever grateful for your impact Pastor Sonny. Now you join the cloud of witnesses and those who have gone before us. We are, because he was………the Vision continues.
My name is Victor M. I was not in gangs ,of but I lived in a prison of sin and darkness a prison where the enemy kept m. I fell in love with the mission of VO. I fell in love with the vision.I’m grateful for Pastor Sonny, grateful for His Commitment, His yes, His loyalty, And all he did for victory outreach all over the world.Because now I feel I have a purpose. Not only for me, but for my children, I’m a single mom. And this is the perfect place where I am raising my kids.
I will forever be grateful for his legacy because as I walk now in his legacy also this is for my children. That is a great legacy that he left for my children for the children. Of my children the children of my children’s children and it will be going forever more. I thank God for Pastor Sonny and this beautiful ministry.
Hi I personally will forever greatful to PS SONNY For his Obedience to the voice and Spirit of God if it was not for Him to step out in faith where would I have been today .
Pastor Sonny as a visionary saw what no one else saw in me. He asked my wife and I to help translate two of his books. Then at a meeting he said “let’s hear from Neftalí and what he did for my books” to which I replied how humble he was and y what I was to speak rather what his books did for me. He will be in our hearts for the rest of time. To God be the glory for this man of God.
I am incredibly grateful for the ministry of Victory Outreach and for Pastor Sonny Sr, whose vision and leadership have made this remarkable ministry possible. I truly would not be here or where I am today without it.
As I embark on my first year as a psychologist, I recognize that this journey would not have been possible without our ministry. I am thankful that Pastor Sonny had faith in the potential of the next generation and believed in the possibilities for more. The pathways provided by the UTC and VOBC played a significant role in shaping my life educational journey. Before I took any secular college courses, I enrolled in VOBC which I believe truly transformed my life.
This experience inspired me to pursue my education further and to strive for more. My goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to those I work with and to everyone around me. Im truly grateful for our founder and the Arguinzoni family.
Thank you pastor for answering your call. Without the answer I don’t know where I would be right now. ❤️❤️❤️

“A MAN SENT FROM GOD”
HE GAVE GIFTS UNTO MEN EPH 4:8-11
Greetings, everyone.
I want to share that, just days before our spiritual papa passed, I had a dream about him. In my dream, we were giving each other a big hug. I remember seeing a big smile on Pastor Sonny’s face—there was so much joy, peace, and excitement. As I approached him, I told him that I had been waiting for that moment for a long time. When I hugged him, it felt like I was embracing a giant. He felt like a big person—solid and strong.
Days later, I heard the news that our pastor had gone to be with the Lord. One thing I was really looking forward to was the handshake, the picture, and that hug, as well as receiving my diploma from our founder at this upcoming conference.
I felt very special to have had that dream I’ll always remember it.
Through the Glory and Grace of God, Pastor Sonny’s life was saved. Not only for himself, but for the lives of hundreds of thousands, and more. Praise God He had a powerful woman of God ready for him, sister Julie. I’m thankful to our Lord Jesus for what He has done through Pastor Sonny Arguinzoni, and sister July, their sacrifices and obedience. I’m thankful to God for Victory Outreach and the powerful legacy. The Arguinzoni family is an example that God is on the move just as He had always been in the Old Testament with the promises to Abraham. Through Pastor Robert Peña from Boyle Heights, evangelizing in Lincoln Heights Los Angeles I received my first invitation to Victory Outreach, when I was in need looking for a church to go to (around 2008). My life has forever changed in my walk with God. Thank You Father for this Ministry You created through Pastor Sonny, sister July and their entire family. I faithfully support this ministry. I am so grateful to our Lord Jesus that I can go to many countries in the world and know I can go to my church, Victory Outreach, like Barcelona. Since I’m in Arizona now God had Victory Outreach for me there too. Thank You Father, we know Pastor Sonny is with you now and we are forever grateful to You for his legacy. I know that You, my Lord, will continue to bless this ministry through all Your disciples raised from Victory Outreach. Blessings for all the components of this ministry. In thanksgiving we pray for the entire Arguinzoni family, and the ministry, at this time of mourning. The legacy continues. Amen, in the powerful name of Jesus

We have received implode and preached the vision of victory outreach due too our foundation of faith through our founder elders and leadership message.being apart of church plants
Victory Outreach Education Department and as Graduate of men’s Home.
In 2007 straight out of prison out on bond into my 1st week in the Women’s Home we went to my first Victory Outreach Event and First World Conference. I remember seeing Pastor Sonny for the first time preaching there. That was the day I heard his heart beat. 18 years later that heart beat still pounds through me. I was given the privilege to open a Women’s Home in Pueblo, Colorado. Everyday I have the honor to help hurting women find the same purpose that I received the day I heard Pastor Sonny speak. Pastor Sonny It’s because of your “Yes”!!!! Because of your obedience someone like me…… a worthless good for nothing lost girl with no hope , found purpose. I have a reason to live. I am so grateful to God for you and for your family because their sacrifice is greater than mine could ever be. But because of that sacrifice I have the honor of Directing a Women’s home . You Pastor are my Hero, I may have never had a conversation with you or had a cup of coffee with you, but the impact and Love I have for you words could never explain. Until now I used to consider my calling a privilege and though it is now that your gone, THIS IS A RESPONSIBILITY I have now to “Continue The Vision” and “To Carry Out Your Legacy”. I AM YOUR LEGACY and you can count on me to continue to reach Treasures Out Of Darkness!!!!! I love you Pastor
